ScienceDaily recently highlighted Dr. Cartwright’s work at the USGS Southeast Climate Science Center; Dr. Cartwright is the lead author on USGS Professional Paper 1828, "Insular ecosystems of the southeastern United States: a regional synthesis to support biodiversity conservation in a changing climate".
Dr. Cartwright’s research shows that several southeastern US ecosystems are at high risk of being hurt by climate change (both current and future).
